Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and sing a few baas with us!  less

We are a fun, informal choir singing songs from shows, films and charts - past and present. We welcome members of all abilities and experience. We meet in 2 venues in Norfolk, Close to Wroxham and Norwich.

Based in Winchester, the chorus currently has about 40 members of all ages who come from across Southern Hampshire. We continue to meet regularly via Zoom while we're unable to gather face to face. The chorus has competed locally, nationally and on occasion internationally, as well as entertaining local audiences at public and private events. Emanual Wolff’s MooNlight HoWling spoke to me in its dark corners, surrealist takes on reality and visceral accounts of battles with mental illness and the struggle of existence therein. Forgiveness especially so; the first stanza of which painted an image of loss, of regret, and of reconciliation. My composition then took on a programmatic aspect – coming ...    less

The Or Y-a Choir is a women's choir under the direction of Nomi Teplow. The choir is comprised of women of all ages from all over Samaria in Israel who come together to sing in a variety of musical styles in Close harmony, to learn to sing and to have a good time.
