The Department has...  moreThe University Chorale performs the "Song of Ruth" by Rudy Lupinski and Victoria Davison. The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

The Choir promotes European and Croatian musical heritage giving concerts both home and outside Zagreb, but also enjoys performing classical music to the audience that does not tend to go to cultural events. Since 2007, the Choir has been conducted by Ms. Elena Konovalova. Under her guidance, the Choir won first place at Zagreb Singing Choirs Competition 2012, in Vocal Ensembles category. The University Choir is the premier auditioned ensemble of Colorado Christian University. The ensemble focuses on a cappella sacred repertoire but also performs world music. The University Choir is a regular performer at conferences and tours annually.
