From its beginning it has been affiliated with ZAMEK Culture Centre. Experienced and respected pedagogues-musicians look after the musical development of the girls and artistic program. The Choir is conducted and creatively inspired by its Artistic Director and Conductor Alicja Szeluga, an educator and choral music aficionado. The Vocal Coach Marzena Michałowska, and accompanying pianist Czesław Łynsza, as well as percussionist Beata Polak complete the musical team. The SKOWRONKI Girls Choir also has programs for younger groups. The ensemble is consists of 140 girls aged between 6 and 22. The singers of the choir are secondary school students as well as students from universities of Poznań. It was originally formed by Ben Camaso as JCSV Chorale, a name patterned in accordance to the Jaime Cardinal Sin Village Community, which in that time was newly constructed, located at Punta. Sta. Ana, Manila, where the parish is situated. Before, they compose of only girls, singing melody of the songs of the Holy Mass. A year passed, Virgilio Deloso handled the choir, and divided the girls into two voices, the Sopranos and Altos. It was not so long that the group acquired male participants filling up all the voice sections of a chorale. Shortly after, JCSV Chorale was then disbanded to give rise to what they now call the Munting Himig Chorale, having more than 20 god-endearing and angelic-voiced youth of Punta. Lee Chong M...  moreJakarta Festival Chorus (JFC) was initially the Chamber Choir founded by Indra Lazuardi; whose members were the sacred music lovers of Gereja Santapan Rohani Indonesia, Jakarta (The Bread of Life Church of Indonesia). Since the beginning, Rev. Lee Chong Min – a reverend as well as a professor of the School of Church Music, Singapore Bible College – has been appointed to be the choir master of the Chamber Choir. In 1997, the choir name was changed to Jakarta Festival Chorus in order to reach out more participants from evangelical churches in Jakarta. Jakarta Festival Chorus is currently under the Music Department of the Communion of Chinese Churches in Indonesia (PGTI). The members now are choristers and sacred music lovers from different churches in Jakarta.
