Comprised of professionally trained musicians, Innismara is dedicated to the performance of the intimate and hidden treasures of the vocal ensemble repertoire. Well-known for specializing in sacred and secular music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, Innismara also enjoys experimenting with contemporary, pop, jazz and spiritual arrangements as well as exploring the rich folk music of Newfoundland and Labrador.  less

Seitdem haben sich Mirko Ludwig (Tenor), Florian Sievers (Tenor), Christoph Behm (Bariton) und Tim Schwarzenberger (Bass) ein breites A-cappella-Repertoire erarbeitet und dieses bei verschiedenen Konzerten und Auftritten im norddeutschen Raum präsentiert. Durch die Jahre im Knabenchor musikalisch geprägt, führte der Weg alle vier ensemblemitglieder zum Lübecker Kammerchor „I vocalisti" unter der Leitung von Hans-Joachim Lustig, mit dem sie zahlreiche Preise gewannen, u. a. beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb und bei internationalen Kammerchorwettbewerben wie Marktoberdorf, Tolosa (Spanien) und Cork, Irland. Die jahrelange gemeinsame Singerfahrung in unzähligen Konzerten, auf nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben und Festivals legte schließlich den Grundstein für das vierköpfige Vokalensemble. Its mission is to enrich, inspire, motivate and engage the children, not only of the church, but the entire Barracks community in sacred songs among other value oriented musical works which have positive, uplifting and inspirational messages. It's the group's vision to inspire a life-long love for good music and church leadership in the young singers through the pursuit and enjoyment of musical and other artistic excellence. Children from ages 6 to 18 residing in Accra with consent from guardians are given the opportunity to join through auditioning. Its membership currently stands at 65. The choir sings during communion and lead congregational singing during Sunday School anniversary.
