This performance, however was part of the memorial service in St Martin in the Fields, for Ruth Rudge, who was a very distinguished and lovely lady, and also my first boss. The ladies of the Occasional choir, whose beginnings were as the Madrigal choir at West Heath, which I co-founded, all those years ago, are the singers, including one of the six that took part in the very first performance. I am conducting, and Penny Walker, who now directs the choir is accompanying. Unfortunately less than half the singers are visible in the video. less

Performed by the Vancouver Island Chamber choir [http://www.facebook.com/VancouverIslandChamberchoir]
The text, by Alexander forest, is:
A cloud moves through the sky;
A small cloud in the bast sky
Soft and white against the bright blue.
A cloud moves through the sky;
Floats high above.
A single cloud in the sky,
Gently drifting through the air.
A cloud moves through the sky.

The video is based on a caricature of me as a choirboy.
This is an improved version using that video but following the words more clearly and also including the words on screen.
The choir sings the 12 days of Christmas but it all goes horribly (or hilariously) wrong.
