Members of the choir come from the multi-cultured community around ...  moreAbout the BAVE CHAMBER CHOIR The BAVE CHAMBER CHOIR is focus group formed out of the BAVE Community Choir in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2017 to participate in music festivals and events. Members of the choir come from the multi-cultured community around the Klang Valley. The BAVE Chamber choir is part of the BAVE Community Choir. BAVE Community Choir was launched in 2015 as part of BTSM’s outreach to the community. Both the Community and Chamber choirs are part of the Broadway Theater Society Malaysia’s activity groups. Members of the Chamber Choir will have to first be part of the main Community Choir. The BTSM is a non-profit organization, formed to promote performing arts in Malaysia by the community, for the community. BAVE maintains a strong policy that “Everyone Can Sing”. The tagline for BAVE is “NO AUDITION & NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED”. The choir is non-auditioned but members who join will have to commit to rehearsals and group activities. Flame Trees are known as 鳳凰木 (Phoenix Trees) in Chinese. Phoenix Singers, Hong Kong is a newly established chorus, musically directed by Celia Leung. The chorus meets once a week and share the joy of singing. The Chorus presented concerts at various venues around HK since its inception. We also make it our mission to support local charities at each term.

The Sierra Boys Choir is the new revival of the Sierra Boys Choir in the 1970s, which was active in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area and directed by Stan Burke. When Mr. Burke joined the Mario Singers and left to move to Long Beach, CA, the choir was disbanded and a hole was left in the local arts and culture scene. The revival of the choir is a project (and passion) of Nathan Lundholm. Our goal is to provide musical and artistic opportunities to the boys while teaching them to be generous and thankful members of the local and global community. Our aim is to be fun and entertaining on many levels, from practices to shows, even to social events on the town. We put all volunteers through a background check, and we ask some degree of participation from parents. The Sierra Boys Choir is a 501c3 non-profit corp. Dozan wa A...  moreDozan wa Awtar Singers received two Gold Diplomas for its participation in the 8th World Choir Games held in Riga, Latvia this year. The Games included twenty seven thousand singers from four hundred choirs representing seventy three countries. Dozan wa Awtar, under the leadership of its Founder and Director Shireen Abu Khader, competed in two categories: Scenic Folklore and Mixed Choirs; singing Arabic songs in both and receiving a Gold Diploma in each category. This is the first time Jordan is represented in an international choral competition. On this occasion, Shireen Abu Khader expressed her immense pride at this accomplishment and international recognition and commended the continuous efforts of the singers which led to this achievement. She also thanked all those who have given both financial and moral support to the choir, as this could not have been achieved without their help. The choir was founded in 1986 as part of the church music work at the Lutheran Lindenkirchengemeinde. The Berlin Girls‘ Choir has won many awards. It was most recently awarded the OPUS KLASSIK in 2021 for the music film „STIMMENÜBERLEBEN“ (Anne Frank: A Living Voice) and the „Kinderchorlandpreis“ of the Deutsche Chorjugend for very good children‘s choir work. The choir also won several first prizes at the German Choir Competition and at international competitions in Warsaw/Poland, Venice/Italy, Helsingborg/Sweden, Neerpelt/Belgium, the Harmony Festival in Limburg, the Johannes Brahms Festival in Wernigerode and the Vienna World Piece Choral Festival.
