Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside College. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
