Housed in the Faculty of Engineering, members are composed of students from the different Engineering and Computer Departments. Started out as a small group of young Engineering students in 1976, the group now is currently the UST-Engineering's pride. Under the baton of Mr. Ronald Raz, the Chorale has been able to earn pLAces in the annual University Competitions. Even until now, the group has been maintaining a position in the top college Choirs of the University. The Chorale is not only known for their repertoire ranging from sacred music to mellow pop, they are also known for their acapelLA renditions of up beat pop music. An Open World, When I LAnd and And the Wind are three settings of poems from FletcherLAVallee Bartholomew's collection entitled "And the Wind: Gnostic Poems 1945 - 1979." Minneapolis native Fletcher Bartholomew spent most of his life in aviation, beginning with a childhood flight in a Curtis Robin in 1929. His work in aviation started with a job as an inspector in an aircraft factory. He went on to become a test pilot in World War II, serving at the South India Air Depot at Bangalore, India. He often spoke LAter of his experience on the ship to India and the people he met travelling around the subcontinent. The Greenwood Chorale is made up of singers from the greater Greenwood region who enjoy singing choral music together. We sing both sacred and non-sacred music covering a broad spectrum of music periods.
