The Choir, which began at Brigham Young University as an early music ensemble, transformed into one of The premier non-collegiate chamber groups in The Western United States. This award-winning ensemble achieves high performance standards by drawing on The rich musical heritage of The region. Many Cantorum singers Have solo careers and All Have sung with top collegiate ensembles. A number Have also sung as members of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah Chamber Artists, and Salt Lake Vocal Artists. in addition, Cantorum is proud to Have a high representation of talented choral educators.
