Membership is by audition only. All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.  

Marsh Ladies Choir was founded in 1955 and in 2015 will celebrate its diamond Jubilee. The Yorkshire based choir is around 40 members strong and has developed a wide repertoire from classical and folk to swing, jazz and songs from the shows.
