The song first premiered at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts on May 18, 2019. This recording was made at the conclusion of the Chorale's June 2, 2019 performance at Old Donation School.

The women shed their shawls and toss them into the center to represent the ingredients being dropped into the bubbling 'cauldron'.
