We sing traditional classical literature arranged specifically for the choir, folk songs, and other works written for trebles. We also sing classical sacred music for various religious servies.

All of them are former members of the “Dresdner Kreuzchor” (Choir of the Church of the Holy Cross Dresden) or the “Thomanerchor Leipzig” (St. Thomas Choir Leipzig), two of the most famous Boy's choirs in Germany.
The singers have set themselves the target to present their listeners a wide musical spectrum. Their repertoire consists of vocal music from Renaissance and Baroque to Romanticism to the 20th and 21st century. Important elements are works of Jacobus Gallus, Michael Praetorius, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Francis Poulenc and Rudolf Mauersberger. In addition they also perform with popular music. Music of the “Comedian Harmonists”, “The Beatles”, Billy Joel or the German group “Wise Guys” are also an essential part of their repertoire.
At their concerts they perform in varying constellations from four up to eight singers.

The Boychoir’s reputation for excellence has brought invitations from local and national music conventions, as well as sporting events and touring Broadway companies. The Boychoir has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Prague Philharmonic, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio, amongst others. This season our choirBoys will be featured in Minnesota American Choral Directors Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Golden Finale Concert along with first-time appearances with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Edina Chorale and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church Choir (Orff’s Carmina Burana). We will participate in the third annual Minnesota State Festival of Boychoirs in April.

To help celebrate this important milestone, Nashville Singers hosted a special "meet & greet" event honoring the Suntones in Nashville on May 12, 2011. The concert closed with a performance by The Suntones and the Nashville Singers singing Gene Cokeroft's stirring arrangement of Danny Boy, with solos by Gene and son Bruce.
