E’ con questa convinzione che nel 1995 nasce il Soul Singers Gospel Choir e nel tempo, Candy Patricia Cauilan, già cantante del coro universitario “Philippine Madrigal Singers”, tra i più rinomati e premiati complessi di musica polifonica nel panorama internazionale nonchè cuore, mente e direttrice dal gesto essenziale e dal gusto interpretativo adeguato, crea una formazione che ad oggi conta circa 30 elementi. Ad essa va aggiunta una formazione strumentale che riesce ad esaltare tutta la carica prorompente della musica Gospel. Un très bon moment pour les enfants et les adultes dans la salle qui ont bien joué le jeu! Cette Soirée qui était organisée par SENSATION! est primée du TopCom 2013 et finaliste du Grand Prix KRéA 2013 et en lice pour le prix du public !

During the forty plus years of its lifetime it has benefited from the leadership of four further conductors, David Griffiths, Margaret Maddock, Len Williams, and our present Director of Music, Carol Davies. The choir has travelled widely over the years with tours in Europe, United States and Canada besides engagements throughout Wales and England. Our concert venues have varied from village halls to national auditoria and great cathedrals. In the Eisteddfod field we have won two National first prizes plus several seconds and others. In 2002 we celebrated our 40th anniversary with a sell-out concert in the 1000 seat Great Hall in Aberystwyth. One of the Choirs highlights was performing with the Central Band of the RAF at the Mayflower theatre Southampton and before Princess Beatrice of the Netherlands as part of a joint concert of a 1000 Welsh and Dutch voices.
