They have been auditioned and selected from a program of 250 singers and identified as The cream of The crop based on Their beauty of vocal tone, musical intelligence, sight reading ability and academic achievement. They are also instrumentalists, actors, athletes, student leaders and ambassadors of LSHS. Most importantly, They are students who are DEDICATED to being The best They can be. As a result of These high standards, Sounds of Summit has developed a reputation in Lee’s Summit and around The nation as one of The elite high school level performing ensembles. We are frequently asked to perform with UMKC’s Conservatory, as well as multiple appearances at The Missouri Music Educators Convention. We are also in high demand with community groups for performances around Christmas time. A fountain wher in this case The musical joy starts to spray it's joyful notes. The love for music and The willingness to reach a good choir sound is The starting point of this ambitious group of amateur singers. The choir members originate from different kind of choral background (close harmony, church choir and oratorium choir). Endora consists of 8 sopranos, 8 altos, 5 tenors and 5 basses.
