Starting in the children's Choir wit...  moreex-semble The female Choir ex-semble was founded in the year 1994 by its conductor Christoph Haßler. It started as an experiment in a small ensemble. Most of ex-semble's members come from the Süwestpfälzer Kinderchor. Starting in the children's Choir with voice training and also personal formation, ex-semble works mainly with a-cappella literature of all epoches. In mid-April, 2011, Ola spent 3 days on the Central Washington University Campus for a project in which he joined the Choir in recording 3 of his compositions. On this video, Gjeilo adds an improvised accompaniment (in a one-take rendition) to his composition "Northern Lights"-- which is published as an unaccompanied piece. Because of his view that improvising is a wonderful snapshot of artists "at that moment", the project was entitled "In the Moment". The other composition to which he created an improvised accompaniment was "Ubi Caritas". He also accompanied the Choir on "The Ground", which includes CWU's resident faculty quartet -- the Kairos String Quartet. Our director is Linda Corcoran who also directs the current UK Champions ‘ The Great Western Chorus of Bristol’. We are actively recruiting new members and have ambitions for national and international performance. Almost all of our members are also in other Choirs and 'the Feds' rehearse together only once per month on average, so it is possible to stay with your current Choir and with us.

The ensemble performs sacred, religious, OPM, Pop and Folkloric repertoire from different well-known local and international composers and arrangers. The group was formed in 2016 with sixteen pioneer members representing the 16th note on the logo of Quorista.
