At The beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national Choir competitions and repeatedly won The first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of The most established Choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, The Choir has been given The chance to perform in events attended by The President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in Concerts, occasionally collaborated with oTher Choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized The 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Originating from a Leicestershire Youth Choir and reforming as an adult Choir in February 2009, members now come togeTher to perform about five times each year. Having tasted success as a Youth Choir in Llangollen in 1998, The Choir returned in Their new guise as a Female Choir In July 2010, winning Their section and taking Their place in The Choir of The World competition. This success was followed by Concerts in Macclesfield and Birmingham and a win at The North Wales Choral Festival in November 2011. In 2012, The Choir competed in The Fleischmann International Trophy Competition at The Cork Choral Festival and won 2nd prize in this year's International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.
