Each season we perform choral mast...  morethe Nashoba Valley Chorale is a mixed-voice chorus with 90+ Members based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of the Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from all walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less

We won our first Regional competition and are preparing to compete at...  moreWe are a chorus of around 100 active Members formed in January of 2017 from two former, Regional championship, Sweet Adeline choruses known as Great Lakes Chorus and Spirit of Detroit. We won our first Regional competition and are preparing to compete at International contest in October. We really enjoying competing and entertaining with our bi-annual shows and occasional singouts in and around the Detroit area. Come have fun singing with us at our Tuesday night rehearsals! Presently 38 Members strong and constantly looking to grow! Lead by two very talented directors we compete yearly at regional competition - 2014 will be our first competition in a new region - #25 (to be held in Tulsa, OK). We also present an annual show!

Overtone singing is a new vocal technique that allows for singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as Choir improvisations and contemporary music. the effect of controlled overtones on the timbre of classical Choir compositions is explored with special ear training.
