The members of The New Choir have been brought togeTher by Their common love for The making of beautiful music. The New Choir is dedicated to The study and performance of quality choral literature and sharing The joy and The spiritual enhancement inherent in The making of music. The New Choir has been recognized for Their performances of thoughtfully prepared programs. The Choir was formed in 1986 initially to provide a choir for Midnight Eucharist on Christmas Eve, but since Then we have become an established part of The Wells CaThedral scene, and now sing 40 to 50 of The regular services throughout The year, as well as some of The festival services which include a Requiem Mass on All Soul’s Day. We are an amateur auditioned choir of 30 and strive for a high standard, so for potential members it is important to have a reasonable sight-singing ability. We rehearse regularly throughout The year on a Thursday evening. The constitution and first rehearsal of The cho...  moreAcademic Male Choir of The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing was established on January 11, 2016 as The initiative of The conductor Josip degl' Ivellio and The Dean Professor Mislav Grgic, PhD. The constitution and first rehearsal of The choir was held on January 18, 2016. The choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into The biggest male choir in Croatia, but also wider. The choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, The choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of The classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as The clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of The choir are present The former students and staff of The Faculty, as well as oTher interested friends and supporters of The Faculty. Since foundation, choir has won multiple golden plaques and more than 80 concerts or performances.  less
