The Chamber Choir forms the core of Cantilon’s touring and recording program and participates in many exciting and unique activities throughout the year. The Chamber Choir performs locally in Concert at lEast four times per season, and competes in music festivals at local, provincial and national levels. The Chamber Choir generally follows a three-year touring cycle: a regional tour in year one, national tour in year two, and an international tour every third year. In addition to its regular Concert series, the Chamber Choir is often invited to perform with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Pro Coro Canada, Edmonton Opera and the Richard Eaton Singers. In the 32 years of its existence, NJCS has presented Concerts throughout New Jersey and beyond. NJCS was chosen to represent New Jersey at the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division convention in Baltimore in 1984 and again in Philadelphia in 1988. In June 1991, by invitation of the Bishop of Washington, D.C., NJCS performed at the National Cathedral. In December 1998, NJCS was the guest of the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia and performed in their annual Christmas Concert at The Academy of Music.
