TEXT:
One dark night,
fired with love’s urgent longings
—ah, the sheer grace!—
I went out unseen,
my house being now all stilled.
In darkness, and secure,
by the secret ladder, disguised,
—ah, the sheer grace!—
in darkness and concealment,
my house being now all stilled.
On that glad night, in secret,
for no one saw me,
nor did I look at anything,
with no other light or guide
than the one that burned in my heart.
- St. John of the Cross (1542-1592)

Some of our members have had a lifetime of music and choral experience; others are only just beginning to discover the joy of singing. Whichever stage our members are experiencing in their personal musical journeys, the IFC is filled with enriching opportunities to learn and grow both as musicians and as individuals.
The IFC is committed to sharing our love for music and choral singing with the Community through two formal concerts a year and additional performances at private and public events. less
