Latvian Voices is a professional a cappella group from Latvia. With their voices as the only musical instrument, Latvian Voices have developed a unique individual vocal style, in which intonations from ethnic music of many nations intertwine.
Majority... moreLatvian Voices is a professional a cappella group from Latvia. With their voices as the only musical instrument, Latvian Voices have developed a unique individual vocal style, in which intonations from ethnic music of many nations intertwine.
Majority of the repertoire is arranged and composed by the members of the group, most of all by Laura Jēkabsone. The repertoire of Latvian Voices is wide: from Latvian folk songs and original compositions with lyrics from Latvian traditional folklore to examples of Classical music in inventive transcriptions. The Concerts are usually enriched with arranged melodies of popular and worldwide known songs as well as modern original compositions by Latvian Voices.

Here, our lovely singers have made it into a conversation – a shared experienced between the women. It’s been bEautifully arranged by Moira Smiley and Vida, but was written by John Prine, a Chicago folk musician.
There are two new singers in this ensemble: Rosi, a deep dark bass, standing back left, and Marie, sitting at the front right with the cowboy hat on. Both singers have been a wonderful addition to our choir.
Adele in the rocking chair, Annabelle standing right, and Katherine with baby Erin (who LOVES harmony!) complete the group, all of which you have seen many times in Concert! We love the song and hope you do too.
With this song, we are raising money for a charity close to our hearts, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton. Throughout both lockdowns they have had a huge number of call outs, as more people have been exploring the moors and getting into difficulties. As... less

Since 2009 and thanks to his founder, Oscar Allen, the Choral Project has been working with young singers and developing young voices to excell in the interp... moreVoces Blancas del Nalón (VOBLANA) Choral Project is located in Langreo, Asturias, northern Spain. Since 2009 and thanks to his founder, Oscar Allen, the Choral Project has been working with young singers and developing young voices to excell in the interpretation and enjoyment of Choral music and group singing.
Due to an intensive and hard work, its members receive a full Choral and scenic education, structured in the vocal individual technique and its different types of sound emission; on the development of corporal skills expression, and in the grupal practice of the Choral exercise.
This education is complemented by the permanent contact with other artistic disciplines as ballet and theatre are.
Even though the repertoire performed is diverse and heterogeneous, its preferences are focused on the amazing generation of current Spanish composers and the bEautiful treatment given by them to the voice.
