Members saw the need for a name which reflected their distinctive sound and musical objectives. They chose Voyces – a uniting image, powerful in its simplicity, a word with a bit of a twist, reflecting the eclectic and often unusual repertoire of the choir. In using the archaic spelling – ‘Voyces’ – the choir acknowledges thousands of years of rich choral tradition whilst establishing itself in the 21st century choral landscape.
The choir is fast making a name for itself premiering works never before heard in Perth or in fact the world. Voyces seeks to be an interactive and involved performing group in the local WA and wider Australian musical Community. As a strong supporter of emerging young composers and Australian composers, Voyces showcases their works on a regular basis. less

The choir aims to bring the people of Tower Hamlets (East London, UK) together to sing in a friendly and informal environment, and to make a joyful noise in the heart of the east end.
There are no auditions, and songs will be taught primarily by ear, so you don’t need to be able to read music. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, or more of the shower-singer type — if you love to sing and you’re in the area, Sing Tower Hamlets is for you.
We sing in a range of styles, from pop to gospel to show tunes, and do lots of fun warm-ups to build your confidence and free your voice! less
