Five classically trained female singers combine their flexible voices and powerful stage presentation in their own unique way. Seemingly effortless and simple, every gesture and every sound used to good effect, adventurous from beginning to end. The singers sang together in the Netherlands Youth Choir. They hit it off so well there that the ambition developed to continue together in female a cappella repertoire; a relatively rare genre very dear to the hearts of all five. The top quality displayed since by Wishful Singing – both aurally and visually – makes the ensemble unique in the world. The repertoire ranges from modest works from the Renaissance and Baroque eras to swinging versions of golden oldies such as Mister Sandman. Through his diligent guidance, the group has impressed its audiences with the depth and range of its interpretive skills in performances of a capella early music repertoire. ESPRIT was awarded a first prize at the Peel Music Festival in April 2012, and is the proud recipient of the Hon. Barbara A. Hagerman Award for first place at the 2012 ontario Provincial Music Festival. In August 2012, ESPRIT was awarded second place in the Canadian Nationals of the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals (Class 100 - Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman – Best performance by a community choral group 19 and up). Student membership includes students from all disciplines that love to sing and enjoy camaraderie through great music. It is intended to provide a foundation in area of Vocal technique while achieving a high standard of excellence in repertoire selected from all periods and musical styles. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester.  

Rondo Histriae was founded in 2004 and since its origin the conductor is prof. Vinka Buric. The choir is been active and performing in Croatia and abroad. Its performance has been noticed at various competitions.
