During the fifty plus years of its lifetime it has benefited from the leadership of five further conductors, David Griffiths, Margaret Maddock, Len Williams, Carol Davies and our present Director of Music, Alwyn Evans.
The choir has travelled widely over the years with tours in Europe, United States and Canada besides engagements throughout Wales and England. Our concert venues have varied from village halls to national auditoria and great cathedrals. In the Eisteddfod field we have won two National first prizes plus several seconds and others. In 2012 we celebrated our 50th anniversary. In 2015 we again sang at the 1000 voices at The ROYAL ALBERT HALL London and with tenor Russell Watson during his UK tour less

Mister Sandman (choral arrangement)
The 50s song Mister Sandman by Pat Ballard, which I arranged, on request, for our local choir. After a few concerts, I thought it would also be fun to sing it all myself (multitracking), so here it is.

The Poohratorio is based on chapter 8 of A A Milne’s “Now we are Six” (The expotition to the North Pole)
It is set for various voices (spoken and sung) and either guitar or guitar with other optional instruments following the guitar part.

Each character has his own theme (leitmotif).
This 1989 recording was created by the composer using his voice, classical guitar and various electronic instruments.
