Primarily a for-hire performance ensemble, this group offers its members the chance to develop their skills at a professional level. Many alumni continue on to pursue careers in music performance. This is the flagship ensemble of Canada's National Arts Network, ArtsConnex.

The lyrics were written by Elgar's wife, Alice, who was a published author of poetry and fiction. The poem is a romantic Victorian plea for keeping the soul pure: O, snow, which sinks so light, Brown earth is hid from sight O soul, be thou as white as snow O snow which falls so slow, Dear earth quite warm below; O heart, so keep thy glow Beneath the snow. The work, called Poohratorio of course, is due to be published once AA Milne goes into public domain (2031).  less
