A "circle dance", this performance from December, 2010 is The Vocal Art Ensemble's interpretation of what it might have looked like when it was performed by the pilgrims who had come to visit the black virgin statue at the monestary.

Joined by dancers/instructors from Fiesta DanceN' Fitness studio in Davis, CA, this piece served the cornerstone for the thematic programming. Director Tracia Barbieri. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys C... moreAs part of the Vocal Art Ensemble's "Inkspell--Choral Music Inspired by Masters of Poetry" concerts in May, 2012, this piece for treble chorus and piano by Jere Hutchinson sets e.e. cummings' whimsical poem. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys Choir poise while making the most of the poems playful spookiness, so we elicited help from the men of the chorus to try and 'frighten' the women singing.
