The ensemble performs sacred, religious, OPM, Pop and Folkloric repertoire from different well-known local and international composers and arrangers.
The group was formed in 2016 with sixteen pioneer members representing the 16th note on the logo of Quorista. Currently engaged itself in music festivals, concerts, Local and International Competitions.
Currently under the musical tutelage of the founder himself Mr. Ronnie Abarquez.

It started life as The James Ashworth Singers giving its first concert in Thornton Parish church in April 1976. After some years the base moved to the Unitarian church near St Luke’s Hospital to be more central for members coming from all parts of Bradford and the surrounding area.
In 1979 James Ashworth moved on to projects new and was succeeded by Douglas Robinson who had recently retired as Chorus Master at Covent Garden and who held the post until ill health forced his retirement. During this period the name was changed first to The Ashworth Singers and later to The Bradford Chorale.
John Coates took over as Musical Director in 1984 and was followed by Tricia Platts in 1991. Since Tricia’s departure the Chorale has been led by several Musical Directors including Carleton Etherington, Andrew Dibb, Elizabeth Altman, John Griffiths and Christopher Rathbone. Located in the in the heart of Stockholm, these two churches are a renowned center for church music in Sweden. The choir´s repertoire consists of a cappella works from a wide range of national styles and periods, as well as larger works for choir and orchestra.
The choir has won several of Europe´s most important competitions including the European Grand Prize for choral music. The choir has also participated in a wide array of national and international festivals such as the Conference for Swedish Choral Conductors, the Scandinavian Symposium for Sacred Music, the Tolosa Festival in Spain, the IFCM World Symposium in Minneapolis, Sagra Musicale Umbra in Italy, Musica Sacra in Germany, Polyfollia in France, Debrecen Festival in Hungary, and De Internationale Koorbiënnale Haarlem in Holland.

Paul Caruana in 1974 as a... moreThe Jubilate Deo Choir is the resident choir at the parish church of Naxxar (Malta) and is mainly responsible to animate the liturgy of the principal feasts of the Catholic church celebrated in this parish. It was founded by Rev. Paul Caruana in 1974 as a girls’ choir and sang for the first time at Christmas that same year. In the following months male voices were added and the enlarged choir sang for the first time in the Good Friday celebrations of 1975. Eventually adult female voices joined in, establishing an SATB choir.
The first big occasion for the choir came in 1980, performing works by the compatriot prolific composer of sacred music Joseph Fenech (1917-2010). The Jubilate Deo Choir has since performed at the Teatru Manoel on many occasions, took part in the BBC production “Songs of Praise” that was televised worldwide and in 1990 sang during the visit to Malta of Pope John Paul II.
