About Me
Nicole Dawson GLCM (Hons) founded the multi-award winning choir Do You Hear the People Sing? in 2013 as well as childrens' musical groups Little People (Reception), Stars (Years 1 & 2) and Masquerade (Years 3-6). Nicole is a born and bred Hampshire girl and currently lives in Dorset. A musical talent from an early age, her songwriting grew in notoriety when at the age of 16 one of her songs was selected as a theme tune for a charity supporting Romanian orphans. Trained in composition, piano and voice at Trinity College of Music and at London College of Music; following her graduation she founded around fifteen choirs and has since taught thousands to play piano, sing and write music. Nicole brings not only talent but an amazing passion, energy and vocal ability to work.
Nicole utilises her training to support people in reaching their musical aspirations and building their confidence. She is passionate about teaching and uses her skills to arrange compositions to suit the needs of the individual. Nicole takes a lively approach to lessons, creating a fun environment for learning but also focusing on developing musicality and technical skills.
