Together, these settings evoke a surprisingly contemporary impression of London's sights, sounds, and moods, inspiring some irresistible music, by turns contemplative and unquenchably thrilling. This 'capital' cantata was written in 2001 for the Diamond Jubilee of the Barnet Choral Society, of which Chilcott is President.  onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less
