We are girls who become like family through our shared passion for Music. Each member auditioned by our choirmaster, Andre van der Merwe, and attends Stellenberg High School. Our repertoire consists mainly of Gospel, Acapella, Classical, Folk/Ethnic, and Sacred Music. We compete in various national and international competitions and strive to share beautiful Music with the world while being cultural ambassadors for our country. Achievements: - Overall winners of the "ATKV Nasionale Applous-kompetisie" for 12 times (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). - In 2002 they won the category for Women's choirs at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales. - In 2004, we were awarded the highest percentage for any choir at the World choir Olympics. - In 2006 we won the much acclaimed choir of the World trophy in Llangollen Wales. ...    less

In the Asociación Cultural Reyes Bartlet we have the Reyes Bartlet choir and the David Goldsmith Youth choir. We manage the Choral School in Puerto de la Cruz and the project for School choirs. We also organize the Festival of Antique and Baroque Music in Puerto de la Cruz.

While the majority of the singers are undergraduate Music majors, membership is open to all students at the university through an audition process. The group has achieved an impressive reputation of excellence, having been chosen each of the last twenty years to perform at conventions or festivals around the country: the Pennsylvania Music Educators State Conference; the Eastern Division Music Educators National Conference; the Music Educators National Convention; the American Choral Directors Association Pennsylvania State Conference, and the ACDA Eastern Division Convention. The choir is renowned on the international stage as well, representing the US at competitions and festivals around the world.
