Goals are to create a place for men to hone and renew their love of singing, and to provide a home in the choral community. There is an equal emphasis on musical excellence and camaraderie. Takemitsu’s signature sound, featuring rich harmonies colouring melodious refrains, shines through in this conversational and thoughtful piece. The Festival includes participation in concerts and performances in theaters, churches and amphitheaters selected for the particular acoustic characteristics or to enhance the repertoires of any band. Locations such as the wonderful country of the Adriatic Coast in Opatija and Postojna Cave will be the ideal for visits and performances of the groups.  less
