We currently have about 35-40 members and new members are always welcome. We meet Monday evenings, Sept through May, at Greenmeadow Waldorf School in Chestnut Ridge, NY.  

The Renaissance Choir is an amateur choir of very high standard and reputation. The choir’s repertoire imaginatively balances unaccompanied choral music from The Renaissance period with 19th - 21st century works. Although relatively small in number, The ...  moreThe Renaissance Choir is an amateur choir of very high standard and reputation. The choir’s repertoire imaginatively balances unaccompanied choral music from The Renaissance period with 19th - 21st century works. Although relatively small in number, The choir is accomplished in singing music in both double and triple choir form. Particular specialisms include The works of William Byrd, Thomas Tallis and Tómas Luis da Victoria. The choir has performed in many prestigious venues in Europe, including Notre-Dame in Paris, Chartres caThedral and Versailles. Events such as The Prague Spring International Festival (Czech Republic) have also featured The choir. In 2006, in Budapest, The choir performed Tallis’s towering 40-part motet Spem in Alium, with The internationally renowned Budapest Monteverdi Choir. In 2008 The choir enjoyed a trip to The Lisbon region and sang in some truly fantastic venues, including Mosteiro dos Jerónimos.  less

The chorale had an humble beginning in 1992 under a very different name and with a smaller group of choristers in The City of gosnells, it is now based in Bunbury Western Australia. The current choristers come from country centres such Wickepin, Cuballing, Narrogin, Donnybrook, Harvey, Perth and of course Bunbury. The Chorale travels extensively and is always in demand interstate and overseas. The Nightingale's rehearsals takes place The first three Fridays of each month from 6.10 pm to 8.10 pm, and The 4th Sunday of every month from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. The rehearsal venue is at The Walker Hall,Bunbury. Meeting times will be changed as from 10th February 2012 and will be advertised well in advance  less

It is made up of boys, girls, women and men from all walks of life and with many levels of musical expertise and experience, who give of Their time and talent on an entirely voluntary basis to sing to a professional standard. Membership of The choir currently stands at around thirty-five adults and sixteen to twenty children. The choir’s principal function is to provide The music and help lead The worship at The CaThedral’s two main services every Sunday: Sung Eucharist at 10.30 am and Choral Evensong at 6.30 pm. Services are preceded by a rehearsal, and There is a rehearsal once a week, currently on Thursday evenings. In addition to These important duties, The choir also sings for regular special services, occasional concerts, broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio, has appeared on TV, and every year They sing in one of The great British CaThedrals for a weekend, or sometimes a week.
