We are an auditioning, non-professional chamber Choir, Performing a diverse programme of repertoire at regular intervals throughout the year. We draw our membership from the hugely successful EC4 Music, a Choir and orchestra that is widely regarded as one of the leading large amateur groups in London, and it is from this platform of success that CCoV takes its lead. EC4 Music recently performed at the Barbican for the fifth time, raising money for The Prince’s Trust and is also very excited to be making its Royal Festival Hall debut in October this year to mark the grand finale of the Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011. Lord Mayor, Michael Bear's appeal supports children’s charity Coram and RedR, a charity that trains and provides engineers and other relief workers to respond to worldwide emergencies. The BASC has been Performing on a regular basis on each of Broadway Academy’s Showcase that is held at the e...  moreAbout the BROADWAY ACADEMY SHOW Choir The Broadway Academy Show Choir (BASC) started in 2011 by the Broadway Academy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The BASC has been Performing on a regular basis on each of Broadway Academy’s Showcase that is held at the end of each academic term. Performers of the BASC start from the age from age of 13 and to a maximum age of 28 years old. BASC performs according to a certain theme for each performance. This year for the BICF2018, the BASC has chosen the theme of Hamilton, from the award winning Broadway Musical Hamilton. BASC is under the vocal direction of Dr Casey Broadway and choreography under Ms Nana Eddy. The BASC is modeled after the American Show Choir whereby choristers have to undergo both vocal and choreography training. The Choir has been invited to perform in New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Michigan. BASC hopes that the American Tour will be a reality soon. Conducted by Dr Shirley Court. The Chanterelles is a ladies Choir from all over the UK. Originating from a Leicestershire youth Choir and reforming as an adult Choir in February 2009, members now come together to perform about five times each year. Having tasted success as a Youth Choir in Llangollen in 1998, the Choir returned in their new guise as a Female Choir In July 2010, winning their section and taking their place in the Choir of the World competition. This success was followed by concerts in Macclesfield and Birmingham and a win at the North Wales Choral Festival in November 2011. In 2012, the Choir competed in the Fleischmann International Trophy Competition at the Cork Choral Festival and won 2nd prize in this year's International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.
