This recording was done during Vox Camerata's Musica Intimae: From Dusk to Dawn Concert on the 8th August 2015 at the School of The Arts Concert Hall, Singapore. This perfomance also features Lo Yen Nee, who was the dramatist/emcee for that day.

Biography The Celestial City Choir was initiated by two Music students at University of Education, Winneba in 2010. It's formation or foundation began in early January 2011. The members who contributed to the founding were all members from Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist Church about 8 members. Video courtesy of Steve Blowers. The members of Bournemouth Male Voice met at central Bournemouth and took a coach off into the depths of Dorset to give a Concert at Tyneham Church. It was an amazing evening – the church absolutely stuffed to capacity the Choir uber-vibrant and full of good Music. An historic event 70 years on (to the week) from the evacuation of Tyneham and the occasion, the poetry and Music stirred up many differing feelings; laughter, poignancy and nostalgia chief amongst them. A privilege to take part in the event – thanks to Lt Col Ken Davies for his perfect organisation of the event – the phrase military precision comes to mind!  less

Originally composed for full orchestra, Choir and soloists, it was rearranged for SATB a capella Choir by Tin in 2011. The text is a translation of the Lord's Prayer in Swahili.
