Its activities soon expanded and now include a regular concert programme, weddings and services throughout Staffordshire and The West Midlands, and guest appearances at oTher caThedrals.
The Choir has a versatile repertoire of sacred and secular music ranging from The Renaissance to The contemporary, and it enjoys The chAllenge of new and experimental writing. Widely acclaimed Sunday morning broadcasts on BBC Radio 4 have raised its profile well beyond The region, as have its two appearances in The BBC Sainsbury's Choir of The Year Competition, several performances in The Lichfield International Festival, and The recordings 'In Every Corner Sing' (Regent REGCD196) & 'Belgian Choral Works' (Regent REGCD241) with The Lichfield CaThedral Choir and The Fine Arts Brass Ensemble.

The chamber choir comprises of some 40 adult mixed Voices. SPS are based at The heart of a vibrant City of Leeds where it is one component of The larger Choral Foundation of Leeds Minster. Rehearsals take place on Sunday evenings and Singers are most welcome to come along. The Singer's perform concerts at The Minster as well as The wider Leeds area and furTher afield in Yorkshire, UK and internationAlly. Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on The west coast of The Thermaic Gulf and in The shadow of Olympus.
The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, The character and The main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of The Festival is to bring The music closer to The people and to present The music on The streets and The squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of The members’ gender and age can apply for participation at The Festival.
