Victor Hugo's heart-wrenching 1847 poem describes a walk he plans to take tomorrow morning ("Demain, dès l'aube") through the countryside to his daughter Léopoldine's grave four years after her tragic death in a boating accident, which also took the life of her husband Charles who had tried to save her. We started this choir in our neighborhood to give regular people the chance to sing and learn from professionals. We began rehearsals in the fall of 2018 for a holiday show that We performed at a neighborhood block party, and special guest JoAnne Worley c...  ink" href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreWe started this choir in our neighborhood to give regular people the chance to sing and learn from professionals. We began rehearsals in the fall of 2018 for a holiday show that We performed at a neighborhood block party, and special guest JoAnne Worley came and performed with us. Everyone had such a good time, We decided to continue on the following spring. If it catches on, We hope to get our nonprofit status.

Members come from Balfron, Killearn, Drymen, Kippen, Aberfoyle and further afield. We are under the musical direction of Mark Evans, and perform publicly at both Christmas and Spring.
