We are open to all Singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of which is unconventionally notated. Most of our work is a capella and the focus is on ensemble singing. One objective is to expand the contemporary amateur vocal repertoire, which is less developed than the instrumental repertoire. We work with composers and students, commissioning works and showcasing material for use by others.  less

We have a growing reputation for singing in concert. We are also available for hire to sing in church services, including weddings, funerals and special communions. We offer a complete repertoire for Christmas carol concerts and we are also available and pleased to help raise money for charity.

Using a flexible formation, ranging up to 32 Singers, Arsys explores all choral repertoire, both a cappella and accompanied, from early music – Renaissance, Baroque, Classical – through Romantic and 20th century music to that of the present day.
