The world premiere of this piece was at our Lift Every Voice: At The Table virtual concert on Sunday, May 30, 2021. About Opus Nuovo: This season, we launched an ongoing commissioning project as a commitment to a diverse and inclusive approach to choral programming. Through this innovation, we are seeking to broaden the landscape of the choral repertoire for both student and professional Choirs. Over the next three years, our singers will collaborate with ten global composers to facilitate the creation of a collection of new choral works which, aligned with BCC’s vision of cultural equity, represent a truly diverse spectrum of global Musical styles and approaches. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov ...  moreHCS is a non-auditioning, mixed-voice Choir of approx 60 voices, based in the south side of Glasgow. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov and Mar, in an on-site auditorium, with 3-manual digital organ. The auditorium can accommodate 60 singers, up to 30 orchestral players and an audience of around 250 (300 max).

We are located in Oslo an has a very broad repertoar from medieval to contemporary Music. We sing in many languages and in many genres; classical, church Music, romantic songs, folk Music, jazz; with our main focus in classical Music. We have been singing for 15 years and held concerts in several European capitals. Taking our singing seriously, we are a very social singers who likes to perform with other Choirs or Musicians.

Il Coro ha al suo attivo molti concerti in Italia ed alcuni importanti trasferte: Parigi, Sud Africa, Germania, Brasile, Croazia. Nel 2008 Gabriella lascia il coro e viene sostituita brevemente dal M° Benedetto Fiori e, in seguito, da Marta De Colle. Attualmente il direttore è Gino V. Ruoso con cui il coro mantiene il carattere popolare e di montagna, con ampliamento a brani di autori contemporanei.  less

Striving to achieve artistic, Vocal and Musical excellence the Choir singers are graduates of the Rubin Academy of Music Tel Aviv, the School of Choir Singing, Music students and graduates of selected youth Choirs, performing a varied repertoire including both classical and contemporary Music.
