The group has appeared in a wide range of prestigious venues and has performed with many other choirs and ensembles throughout the years.

In their variety and beauty, they lie at the heart of Albion's inspiration. Many of the songs are hundreds of years old, but in Fraser Wilson's arrangements they are reclothed in lush contemporary colours. Working with up to twelve singers at a time, Albion performs mostly unaccompanied, allowing the purity of the human voice to sound across the centuries. Out Aloud is Sheffield's Gay choir. It was formed in 2006 and enables lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgendered people in Sheffield to enjoy singing as a community. There are no auditions and members dont need to be experenced singers or read music.

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the Magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! By 1933 there was a regular Sung Mass every Sunday with organ. The singers (all male) were professionals hired by the Parish Priest. Within a short time there were sufficient men available for a choir trained by Frank Adams and they sang at Mass and on Sunday evenings at Vespers and Benediction. Our mission is to spread a message of respect for the natural world through music from across the globe, and we have performed at events such as Glastonbury Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony, and the United Nations World Environment Day concert in Staines and in Oxford Street, central London. We welcome men and women of all abilities, and sessions are taught by ear so no experience is needed, just a passion for singing and a love of the earth! Our Musical Director is the renowned Susie Ro Prater who has supported choirs and natural voice movement workshops for many years. Our very enjoyable choir practices take place once a month at the Hythe Centre in Egham, Staines, easily accessible by train from Central London and free parking onsite. Fed up of boring lifeless choirs that sing traditional music, Bobby wanted to create a choir format that is fun, exciting, and most important - easily accesible to everyone. We started with a Swansea choir, and quickly expanded to opening a branch in Llanelli. New to 2015 is our branch in Cardiff and Bristol starting in September.

Since its formation in 1964, the choir appears annually at the Welsh Proms and has performed with many of the world’s leading conductors, orchestras and soloists including: Sir Colin Davies; Sir Andrew Davies; Tadaaki Otaka; Owain Arwel Hughes; The London Symphony Orchestra; BBC National Orchestra of Wales; The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Raphael Wallfisch, Luciano Pavarotti; Dame Kiri Te Kanawa; Felicity Lott and Bryn Terfel. We have also sung for both the Queen and Nelson Mandela. The choir’s versatility has led to countless recordings and broadcasts on both Radio and Television, most recently on BBC Radio 4. Commissioning of new works remains high on the choir’s artistic agenda alongside an active tradition of promoting the work of Welsh composers, notably that of William Mathias, Alun Hoddinott, Geraint Lewis, John Metcalf & Mervyn Burtch.
