Our purpose is to provide women and girls who share a bond of supporting currently serving defence personnel, an opportunity to leave all cares behind and sing for our hearts.  

The TIP Choral Society is The official chorale of Technological Institute of The Philippines consisting of select students and alumni singers from The different department choirs of Manila and Quezon City campuses.

The group is made up of twenty-somethings (mostly!) who are young professionals living in London. Founded by singers and beatboxers from The likes of The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, Last Choir Standing and Britain's Got Talent favourites Out of The Blue, The group’s repertoire spans from Billy Joel to The Black Eyed Peas, via pop, Jazz, barbershop, rap and original composition as They offer a programme of sumptuous Jazz arrangements, genre jumping covers and assorted originals. Following a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe, The Refrains enjoyed a sold-out London debut at The Forge, Camden. Recent gigs have included The London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Silver Bullet and private events. Whenever possible, during concerts The members of The choir wear a pearl necklace to represent The significance of The activities pursued: each member of The choir is represented by one of The pearls, with The strand linking Them all being The music - The main purpose of so much hard work to achieve artistic quality. As well as being an extremely feminine accessory, it also illustrates The quality, refinement, finish and musical beauty that The Academia Concerto pursues.
