Members include school staff, pupils (over 16), Employees of council, members of The community. Anyone can join and we have lots of fun, learning basic singing techniques and developing a repertoire of an eclectic choice of music. New members are always welcome.  

We are a group of friends who got to know each oTher while singing in The same academic or chamber choirs. Eventually, our passion for The classical music led us to create our own vocal ensemble. In our repertoire There are also some pop music arrangements.

A part of The choir's winning performance at 43rd Croatian Choral Assembly held in October 2010 in Novigrad.

Under The tutelage of The current Philippine Madrigal Singers member, Jet Torres, The group has won in local choral competitions and has been participating in various choral festivals. Each year, The group also holds fund-raising concert activities to support its annual outreach programs.

Their name originates from The Latin words canti and novum. TogeTher These words become The identity of The choir and mean 'new song'. At present, There are approximately 30 singers in The choir for whom music is a passionate interest – for many it is also a future profession. Many of The singers, eiTher study or work at The Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences or The University of Jyväskylä. The repertoire of Cantinovum is colorful and varied.
