We give you the pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team that enriches the life of all of us. We currently have about 50 members. We feature a variety of music from popular to classical. Our selections are fun and challenging for Singers and entertaining and rewarding for audiences. Open rehearsals for potential new members are held in September and January at the beginning of the rehearsal seasons. No formal auditions are held, but we do expect new members to be experienced in four part choral singing, and to have some ability to read along with sheet music. Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson. The joik is a unique form of cultural expression for the Sami people in northern Scandinavia. Each joik is meant to reflect a person or place. This does not mean that it is a song about the person or place, but that the joiker is attempting to transfer "the essence" of that person or place into song—one joiks their friend, not about their friend. This joik is the essence of a young boy's dream of riding through the snow on the back of a reindeer.  less

We may be studying physics, philosophy or French in our off hours, yet once we don the Blue Blazer our voices and hearts are unified in singing about all that is good in the world. Reverent to rambunctious, Hebrew to Hindi, our brotherhood would like to share it all with you.

Our first meeting/rehearsal was in September 2013. We are directed by Maestro Manuel Jesús Sanchidrián Torti who has an excellent reputation as a choral director in Malaga. Our first concert was in Velez-Malaga in December 2013 when we were joined by a children's choir and a youth orchestra from the Conservatorio “GONZALO MARTIN TENLLADO” in Malaga, both of which are also directed by Manuel Sanchidrián . We plan further concerts and we intend to collaborate with other choirs from different areas of Spain. Our Singers represent 12 different countries and we sing in a number of languages.  less

Humming And Ah-ing Machine is an innovative and fun composition by John White for unaccompanied SATB chorus. The work is made up of short repeated phrases that evolve and entwine, creating a hypnotic and exciting overall work. We performed this piece at a concert in St Michael's Cornhill, London, in 1983.  less
