We perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups. We provide a broad range of music for our audiences, covering a great variety of genres and periods; we revisit standard works within the choral repertoire and explore new challenges from the contemporary musical scene. Musical genres performed by the Chorus include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, 21st Century, spirituals, pop, rock, R&B, and jazz. It has given guest performances at festivals, events, and venues such as Vienna’s Konzerthaus and Musikverein, Styriarte, Osterklang Wien (Easter Music Festival, Vienna), Salzburg Festival „Pfingsten+Barock,“ Bruckner Festival, Linz, Chamber Music Festival Lockenhaus, and Music Festival Grafenegg. It also performs regularly at the Jeunesse (Musikalische Jugend Österreichs) concert series in Vienna and has formed a special partnership with this institution. In recent years, Chorus sine nomine has increasingly played international venues, among others at the Ravenna Festival, Théâtre de Champs d’Élysées, Paris, London’s Barbican Hall, and Munich Philharmonic Hall.
