Domenico Savio" was born in 1999 with the desire to build through music, experience of collaboration and sharing. Over the years the interest in polyphony, the study of the repertoire and the vocal approach has grown. The group has joined the A.R.S. cori (Regional Association of Choirs of Sicily) and consequently to FENIARCO (National Association of choirs) with the involvement in all the regional and national demonstrations promoted by the aforementioned organism: exhibitions, concerts and gatherings for choirs. The limit of the chorister is maximum 35-37 per choir (including the conductor and the choir’s leader). The program of the choir Ensemble must be on the category of CLASSICAL, POP, ROCK, Jazz, or FOLK music. The choice of program it’s free without limit of the instruments that may accompany the choir Ensemble. The duration of performance shall not exceed 20 minutes per performance. The choir Ensembles may have tree performances during the Festival. The following application documents must be provided by the closing date June, 01.Accommodation shall be organized from the organizers in student hostels in Skopje. The participants shall be placed in rooms with 2 or 3 beds, breakfast is included. The accommodation for the participants is free  less

The choir’s work was interrupted for several years during its members’ academic education, as well as during their participation in different musical projects. The present line-up has been steady since 2006. Their repertoire offers a variety of styles of great difficulty and chromatic richness, and tries to take advantage of the cultural and geographic circumstances which make of the Canary Islands a multicultural place. A remarkable feature of the group is their willingness to innovate within the choral music. Their versatility and the variety of repertoire they face can be seen in the different projects they have taken part in: short operas, official or private events, festivals, and monographic concerts on different subjects. Members saw the need for a name which reflected their distinctive sound and musical objectives. They chose Voyces – a uniting image, powerful in its simplicity, a word with a bit of a twist, reflecting the eclectic and often unusual repertoire of the choir. In using the archaic spelling – ‘Voyces’ – the choir acknowledges thousands of years of rich choral tradition whilst establishing itself in the 21st century choral landscape. The choir is fast making a name for itself premiering works never before heard in Perth or in fact the world. Voyces seeks to be an interactive and involved performing group in the local WA and wider Australian musical community. As a strong supporter of emerging young composers and Australian composers, Voyces showcases their works on a regular basis.  less
