The group pursues two main aims: on the one hand to revive old, nearly forgotten Carinthian folk songs, and on the other hand to enrich the Carinthian music scene by new songs and interpretations. The Oktet Suha has performed more than 1400 times in Austria and all over Europe, as well as in the USA, Australia, Ukraina, Argentina and Canada. They had lots of tv and radio appearances worldwide. Oktet Suha has released 12 CD ́s since and is the main organizer of the annual cross boarder vocal Festival Suha. Their highlights were the European Award for Folk and Art and the Silver award of the Slovenian Republik.  less

Most of what the viewers on youtube get to see of us does not effectively capture our interactive and engaging live experience. We hope that this promo clip will give viewers and fans of our music a chance to see Rendezvous in action, and what we have to offer as a professional recording, competing and performing quartet. Rendezvous was formed in 2008 by music majors studying jazz at Humber College in Toronto. Since then, their barbershop/a cappella jazz music has taken them all over the world to perform and compete. They are active members of the barbershop community, especially with heavy involvement in the online community of barbershoppers and multitrackers. Most important of all, they are just 4 young guys who love to sing and have fun, and share music with anyone who will take a moment to listen. In a short time the choir has achieved a valuable role in the Finnish community in The Netherlands. TAIKA practices in The Hague. The choir has a wide repertoire, ranging from folk to pop, with an emphasis on Finnish female choral music. However, the choir enthusiastically performs songs from all around the world. The choir performs in a wide range of events hosted by businesses and organisations. In the spring of 2015 the choir was performing for the first time abroad - in Finland. Summer 2017 choir was in Verona, Italy, taking a part of an international choir festival.  less

In addition, they hail from eleven different states in the Union: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and, of course, Washington, D.C. The group actually began in October 2005 recording a small project of a cappella hymns (The Hymn Project) as a Christmas gift for one of their mothers. Composed of about forty members, our group p...  moreOur association is situated in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the heart of the National Park of the Mercantour, in the southern Alps, north of Nice in the south-east of France, 50km from the seaside (Côte d’Azur). Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself either as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs. We celebrated in 2015 the thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to the promotion of our region, the «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to the development of choral singing (see examples below).
