We are open to all singers with no auditions and previous experience of contemporary music is not needed. We work mainly, though not exclusively, from music, some of which is unconventionally notated. Most of our work is a capella and the focus is on Ensemble singing.
One objective is to expand the contemporary amateur Vocal repertoire, which is less developed than the instrumental repertoire. We work with composers and students, commissioning works and showcasing material for use by others. less

SONG OF PEACE - Revisited 2021
In 2002 my Brother Wayne and I wrote a song for the BBC Choirboy of the year, James Eager.
Last year my Nephews Jake & Oliver recorded a new Vocal and we captured them in a video. This year I have spent several months creating a new video with some stunning winter scenes for your pleasure.
I hope you enjoy this song once again this year.

Members saw the need for a name which reflected their distinctive sound and musical objectives. They chose Voyces – a uniting image, powerful in its simplicity, a word with a bit of a twist, reflecting the eclectic and often unusual repertoire of the Choir. In using the archaic spelling – ‘Voyces’ – the Choir acknowledges thousands of years of rich choral tradition whilst establishing itself in the 21st century choral landscape.
The Choir is fast making a name for itself premiering works never before heard in Perth or in fact the world. Voyces seeks to be an interactive and involved performing group in the local WA and wider Australian musical community. As a strong supporter of emerging young composers and Australian composers, Voyces showcases their works on a regular basis. less
