Prima choir has been founded in 1996 in the pretty Bulgarian town on the Black Sea coast – Pomorie, by 25 women, practicing versatile jobs, but united by one common love – the Music. The repertoire includes works of different styles and epochs. The main part of the production is dedicated to the Church Slavonic music, variations of authentic Bulgarian folklore, and, in the same time, productions of modern Bulgarian authors. The vocal ensemble has set the ambitious task to reach a homogenous and beautiful sound, expressiveness and the right stylistic interpretation. “Prima” choir has delivered artistic tours in Sweden (1997), Poland (1997), Greece (2002), Portugal (2004), France (2006), Albania (2010), Greece(2013)…

Our annual programme typically includes 6-8 concerts in the Harpenden area and further afield, a cathedral tour, open singing days and the occasional recording. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at St George’s School, Harpenden. We are known for good music making, varied repertoire including regular commissions, excellent soloists, interesting concert venues and loyal patronage of a range of local hostelries….
We come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and have a thriving interns scheme for talented singers from local schools.
Over our 50 year history, the Leas have sung under 11 permanent conductors and many guests, each of whom has made a distinctive contribution to our style and repertoire. In December 2011 we appointed Benjamin Goodson to take up the baton.
The Lea Singers are a registered charity. In 50 years, we hav... less

The Rías Baixas Choir was presented in Vigo in January 2014 with the purpose of replacing the lack of choral formations that could collaborate with orchestras and chamber groups in Galicia (NW Spain). His initial claim was also to promote new soloists and serve as a tool for new and established composers specially from the Rias Baixas area.
The choir already has more than sixty performances, both self-managed and scheduled in various cycles or festivals such as Outono Lírico, Vigo Sinfónico, Barcia de Mera Religious Music Series, Nas Ondas, Portico Sonoro, Explurart, Cooltural Cambados and II Festival Groba.
In these performances they have interpreted several fundamental works of the choral repertoire in all kind of stages of the four Galician provinces, both a capella and with instrumental accompaniment. Samples of these are Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini (version for two pianos), the Requiem in C minor by L. Cherubini, Music for the funeral of Queen Mary by H. Purcell, Mass in D major by A. Its activities soon expanded and now include a regular concert programme, weddings and services throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands, and guest appearances at other cathedrals.
The Choir has a versatile repertoire of sacred and secular music ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary, and it enjoys the challenge of new and experimental writing. Widely acclaimed Sunday morning broadcasts on BBC Radio 4 have raised its profile well beyond the region, as have its two appearances in the BBC Sainsbury's Choir of the Year Competition, several performances in the Lichfield International Festival, and the recordings 'In Every Corner Sing' (Regent REGCD196) & 'Belgian Choral Works' (Regent REGCD241) with the Lichfield Cathedral Choir and the Fine Arts Brass Ensemble.

CHC, as often called by parishioners was the official choral group of the Ugnayan St. Joseph the Worker from the Mother of the Redeemer Parish in Deparo Caloocan City. In 2002, Mr. Victor Ventus became the new leader of the group; and under his supervision the choir was considered one of the finest in the Parish. CHC was composed of mixed voices back then; but like any other group, members do come and go. In 2005, most its female members left to study and work. 2006 came and CHC was officially announced and named after its patron saint as Koro de San Jose, the first and only All-Male choir in the Parishes’ history. In 2007, Mark Westvent Abesia started assisting Victor Ventus in teaching the members vocal parts and harmony. Koro de San Jose was able to perform for the Bishop of the Diocese of Novaliches, Schools ... less
