Roughly a year after conception The group has successfully represented The Philippines at The 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition, Hoi An 2011. Under The Leadership of Founder and Choirmaster Ron Oñate, They brought home 2 silver diplomas for The Folk and Sacred Music Categories from The said competition, establishing Their mark on The international Choir scene. Chamz, as They are popularly known, has continually rendered Their voices for various Television shows, Music Festivals, Product endorsements, corporate events, charity concerts and outreach activities. Aimed mainly at singers in The "young professional" category, it is for people who are looking for a Choir with a difference - a great social atmosphere and a challenging, varied repertoire. An auditioned Choir of around 25 members, Tamesis is a high-standard Choir, capable of singing 8-part repertoire on a few rehearsals and having fun while doing it! We've just recorded our second CD which will be released in Autumn 2012.

The ensemble is celebrated both nationally and internationally for excellent musical interpretations originating in its quest for The deepest sources of inspiration: from lyrics, through harmony, texture and form, to individual feelings of The conductor and choristers. The Choir was established in 2005 by Bartosz Michałowski, a long-time assistant to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, founder of The famous "Poznan Nightingales" Boys´ and Men´s Choir of The Poznan Philharmonic.
