We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences! Our repertoire consists of a broad variety of soul, gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary commissions. We sing music from the early 1900's through to more modern songs such as Billy Joel, The Rat Pack etc. The chorus focuses on improving singing techniques and making chords "ring" while at the same time simply having fun. We love it when a 4 part chord is correctly tuned and the chord just locks together and harmonics (or overtones) ring out loud and strong. We compete every year in local contest as a mean of measuring our progress against similar groups but we just love to perform for the public and so our contest activities are very well balanced with public performance. We also have a great time together as one of our goals is to provide a place where men can gather and enjoy their interest in singing. The Harbour Capital Chorus was formed in Wellington on February 4th, 1988 following pioneering work by the “Co-ordinated Chemists” Quartet for several years prior to that. With styles ranging from pop to gospel, we're sure there's something to suit your taste. Come and join us on Tuesday evenings at the University of Chichester, where we rehearse. We aim to give two/three concerts a year – we hope you can be in the next one! We are a group of ladies with ages ranging from early 20s to 50s. We usually run around the school holidays as we have a few mums but can run in the holidays as well if enough people are available. We charge per half term which works out at £5.50 a week when you commit to the whole half term. Please contact us if you would like to come so we can let you know which room we will be in.  less

Music camps, social outings, concert tours and an annual, child-involved fundraiser are combined with weekly rehearsals and live performances to create the type of nurturing environment that enables members to mature musically and socially. The SCCC and its musical directors serve as mentors, coaches and friends to students in a variety of socioeconomic levels.  less

In its 32 years of existence, UPSA has consistently brought honor and prestige to the country, winning various prizes and awards in competitions in ITALY, SPAIN, FRANCE, NETHERLANDS, CZECH REPUBLIC, BULGARIA, SLOVAKIA, BELGIUM, GERMANY, POLAND, WALES, HUNGARY and SWITZERLAND. It is one of the only four Filipino choirs to have qualified to join the 14th European Grand Prix for Choral Singing ‑ the world'S most coveted choral prize. UPSA was also the official entry of the Philippines to the UNESCO International Music Prize in 2005.
