Phoenix Chorus are an all-female, a cappella chorus based in Potton, Bedfordshire. We sing a variety of music ranging from show-tunes to pop, moving ballads to toe-tapping up-tunes, with a preference for harmony music in the barbershop style.

Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.

All sessions run from 1pm to 4pm, and are being held at Phoenix Community Centre, Brighton, BN2 9ND (except 08/11/2015)
I am running five sessions. Everyone is welcome, and no previous singing experience is necessary.
Each session will introduce new songs, as well as continuing to work on a core repertoire.

Norwich's Phoenix Male Voice Choir, based in the heart of Lord Nelson's County of Norfolk, is a friendly, enthusiastic, community group of around 30 men (plus Sarah Grimes, our talented lady Musical Director!) who meet regularly to enjoy practising our re... moreNorwich's Phoenix Male Voice Choir, based in the heart of Lord Nelson's County of Norfolk, is a friendly, enthusiastic, community group of around 30 men (plus Sarah Grimes, our talented lady Musical Director!) who meet regularly to enjoy practising our repertoire and rehearsing for performances. We uphold the tradition and art of male choral singing through the camaraderie of choral membership and in entertaining our audiences.
We give our own concerts several times a year in Norwich and beyond, as well as appear at events by invitation. We were Special Guests of 'The People's Soprano' Rebecca Newman at her 2012 and Spring 2016 tour Norwich appearances and we put up a team to challenge the Eggheads for quiz supremacy!
We also hold Open Rehearsals at the beginning of each singing season when we invite adult gentlemen to see whether male choral singing is for them, or just to see our singing men at work!
